Resolved to Sew 2012

Very Berry Handmade (another one of my favourite blogs) is having a fabric giveaway at the moment themed “Resolved to Sew 2012“.

I have been thinking about what I want from 2012 sewing-wise and this is it:

To sew, not just MORE but BETTER

To take the time to undo the bits that didn’t come out quite right, to use smaller stitches, to finally work out what’s wrong with the tension on my main sewing machine, to learn how to service said machine, and to sew a lot more.

Last year I trained myself to iron everything before and during sewing, and that worked out very well.
